Sjette is a carpet made out of wool ('Sjette' in West flemish) and possibly with a subtile blend of certified Tencel. It creates a strong carpet with a dense consistency and a slight sheen. Because of its qualifications and durability, the Sjette collection finds its home in all sorts of places. From your living room to bedroom, to your big working space or favourite boutique. The variety of colours with a natural base, make Sjette easily combinable with the products and materials in your interior.

The Sjette collection is available in Glow finish (with tencel = shiny dots) or Matte finish (no tencel = no shiny dots) or a combination of both. Please define the finish.
Hand tufting forms an efficient alternative to manual knotting. With the help of a handgun, the tufter shoots the yarn with a great deal of skill polar line by polar line until a carpet is formed. After the carpet is tufted, it's sheared to the right length.
In some collections, materials from several sources are used to obtain a stronger yarn. Special blends from New Zealand wool and European wool ensure an optimum combination of elegant gloss, brilliant colours and a remarkable volume.
Tencel has botanic origin, since it is extracted from the raw material wood. Fiber production itself is extremely eco-friendly, due to the closed loop system. This special process received the "European Award for the Environment" From the European Union.
